Then I got a cheap electronic bell from AliExpress which was very loud and sounded like an angry “AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH”.
So then I got a retro horn just like the one in the photo also from Aliexpress for a few euro’s which has a really nice up and down two tone sound that sounds like “Hel-lo”.
So I took off the electronic “angry” horn. But recently when a car overtook me and then immediately cut straight across me to turn left forcing me to brake hard or I would have been straight into their side door, but they also had to stop across the lane because a pedestrian stepped out forcing them to brake too.
I angrily tooted my nice friendly horn while verbally giving a bollocking but I missed my angry electronic horn in that moment.
It would have been so much more appropriate for expressing my emotional state just there and then.
I’m seriously considering putting it back on for those rare occasions when I need a really loud angry noise……!
I’m sure I can find a space for it on the handlebars for when my other two more civilised and friendly bell and horn don’t cut the mustard!
